The level sensor with semispherical active area combines the tried and tested sensitivity of the S26 series with the mechanical robustness of the stainless steel Triclamp process connection. The sensor reaches slightly deeper into the container than the completely PTFE plastic variant. This can be an advantage when replacing vibrating forks. The S26 sensors help you to easily measure the filling levels of bulk goods, pastes or liquids in your dosing units or storage containers. The sensor detects products with a dielectric constant εr> 1.1. The sensor is certified for use in hazardous areas, for dust zone 20 and gas zone 1 (= cable version). It is a model from our “all-in-one” range. This means you do not need an additional Ex barrier.
The materials used for the sensor body that come in contact with the product to be detected are suitable for use in the food / pharmaceutical sector.
