In cooperation with the company Climate Partner, we have managed to call our company climate neutral. What does that mean exactly?
According to current calculations, our corporate carbon footprint amounts to 760,390 kg of CO2. We offset these CO2 emissions through two climate protection projects.
- Mataven forest conservation project in Colombia
- Regional as well as international tree planting (one tree for 1t CO2)

Since we not only have the ambition to make our company climate-neutral, the next step will also be to certify our products as climate-neutral. This will involve further calculations.
The goal continues to be to keep our corporate carbon footprint as low as possible. We are already achieving this through a variety of measures such as
- In-house solar power plant
- Relationship of green electricit
- Use of e-mobility
- Further energy-saving measures, such as the replacement of fluorescent lamps with LED technology
Through our own projects, such as our primeval forest project, whereby over 200 year old beech trees in the Odenwald are protected, we would like to make our company climate positive in the future and thus make a contribution for our earth, for our future and for the future of next generations.
